Who We Are

Because accreditation is to provide educational institutes the ability to determine the acceptance of credits and degrees from other institutions, the accrediting process becomes governance unto its own. There is no such regulation for federal or state accreditation for religious institutions by the Department of Education of the United States. Religious institutions may keep their faith-based beliefs while choosing to partner with many institutions who participate in private Christian accreditation.

We choose not to belong to government accrediting agencies as allowed by the DOE. We rely on the backing of our peers within the faith-based education community.

 

However, the Seminary has obtained exemption status with the Florida Department of Educations Commission for Independent Education. We renew and comply with Section 1005.06 yearly. This allows us to issue Christian diplomas and seminary degrees with a religious modifier for ministry purpose only.
